Step 1: Kisan Panjiyan (Farmer Registration) on the Official Portal
Registration is the first and most important step. Without a valid registration, you cannot book a mandi slot or sell your crop at MSP. The MP e-Uparjan portal opens registration for Rabi season usually in January–February and for Kharif season in August–September each year.
To register on the official portal at mpeuparjan.nic.in, you will need the following documents ready:
- Aadhaar Card (12-digit number) — must match your bank account name exactly
- Samagra ID (8-digit family ID or 9-digit member ID issued by MP Govt)
- Bank account details — account must be linked to your Aadhaar via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer)
- Mobile number — ideally linked to Aadhaar for OTP verification
- Khasra number (land parcel details from your local patwari records)
- Details of the crop you are registering — crop type, expected quantity in quintals, and the khasra on which it was grown
During registration, the portal cross-checks your Aadhaar with your Samagra ID and with your land records from the Revenue Department. If there is any mismatch in name or father’s name, the registration may be flagged or rejected — so ensure all documents are consistent before you begin.
Step 2: Mandi Slot Booking — Choose Your Center & Date
Once your registration is accepted and verified, the portal allows you to book a Mandi Slot — a specific date, time window, and procurement center where you will bring your crop for sale. This slot system was introduced to avoid long queues at mandis and ensure orderly procurement.
While booking a slot, keep these things in mind:
- Slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis — book as early as possible after registration
- Select a procurement center that is closest to your village to minimize transport cost and crop weight loss
- You can check the available center list and their operating days on the official portal
- The slot receipt (printed or saved as PDF/screenshot) must be brought to the center on the day of sale
- If you miss your slot, you may need to rebook — not all centers allow walk-ins without a slot
Step 3: Arriving at the Procurement Center (Kharid Kendra)
On your scheduled slot day, bring your crop to the designated Kharid Kendra. The procurement officer will check your slot receipt, Aadhaar card, and the crop quality. This is where the physical process begins.
What happens at the center:
- Weighment: Your crop is weighed on certified digital scales. The weight is recorded in the system against your registration number
- Quality Check: Officers check moisture content, foreign matter, and grain quality as per FCI/state norms. Wheat with moisture above 12% may be rejected or have deductions applied
- Biometric Authentication: Your Aadhaar-based fingerprint or OTP is used to confirm your identity on the spot
- Token Issuance: After weighment, you receive a token/receipt with the final accepted weight and amount. Keep this safe
On busy days, centers can get crowded even with slot systems. Arriving 30–45 minutes before your scheduled time window is advisable, especially in peak procurement months like April–May.
Step 4: Girdawari Verification — What It Is & Why It Matters
Girdawari is the official crop inspection record maintained by the Revenue Department of Madhya Pradesh. It is essentially a document that records which crop was grown on which piece of land (khasra number) during a particular season. The e-Uparjan system verifies your registered crop and quantity against this Girdawari record before finalizing the sale.
This step is critical because:
- It prevents false registration — you cannot register 100 quintals if your land record shows only 2 acres of wheat cultivation
- If Girdawari shows a different crop on your khasra (e.g., mustard instead of wheat), your wheat registration will be rejected
- The Girdawari is updated twice a year by the local patwari (revenue officer) — for Rabi and Kharif seasons
- You can check your Girdawari status on the MP Bhulekh portal or at your local patwari office
If your Girdawari entry is missing or incorrect, you must get it corrected by your patwari before registering on e-Uparjan. This correction cannot be done on the e-Uparjan portal — it is a revenue department process.
Step 5: MSP Payment — Directly to Your Bank Account
After your crop is successfully weighed, quality-passed, and your Girdawari verified, the procurement data is uploaded to the system by the center officer. The payment is then processed through the PFMS (Public Financial Management System) and credited directly to your Aadhaar-seeded bank account.
- Payment is typically made within 7 working days of the sale date
- You will receive an SMS alert on your registered mobile number once the payment is transferred
- You can track payment status on the official portal using your registration number or Aadhaar number
- If payment is delayed beyond 10 working days, you can contact the district ATMA office or call the state helpline
The entire payment goes directly to your bank — there is no cash component, no agent in between. This is the core benefit of the e-Uparjan system over traditional mandi procurement.
These are the most frequently reported issues by farmers trying to register on the MP e-Uparjan portal. If you face any of these problems while following the process on the official portal, here is what each error means and how to resolve it.
Aadhaar–Land Record Name Mismatch
What causes it: Your name or father’s name in the Aadhaar card does not exactly match what is recorded in the Khasra / land record (Bhu-Abhilekh). Even a difference like “Ramesh” vs “Ramesh Kumar” or a different spelling in Hindi can trigger this error.
- Visit your local Patwari (revenue officer) with your Aadhaar card and request a name correction in the land record
- Alternatively, if the error is in Aadhaar, visit your nearest Aadhaar Enrollment Center with supporting documents to request a name update
- After correction, allow 24–48 hours for the change to reflect in the e-Uparjan system before retrying registration
- If your case is urgent, contact the Tehsildar office for an expedited correction letter
Bank Account Not Aadhaar-Linked / DBT Error
What causes it: Your bank account exists, but it has not been seeded with your Aadhaar number for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). The portal validates this linkage, and if it fails, your registration cannot be completed or your payment will not go through.
- Visit your bank branch with your Aadhaar card and passbook. Fill the Aadhaar seeding form (available at any branch)
- You can also link Aadhaar online via net banking if your bank offers this service
- After linking, confirm DBT activation by checking the NPCI mapper: resident.uidai.gov.in or ask your bank to run a DBT check
- Note: Aadhaar linking and DBT activation are two different steps. Ensure both are done
Girdawari Not Found / Wrong Crop Entered
What causes it: The Revenue Department’s Girdawari record for your khasra number either does not exist for the current season, or it shows a different crop than what you are trying to register. This mismatch blocks your e-Uparjan registration.
- Check your Girdawari status on the MP Bhulekh portal (mpbhulekh.gov.in) using your khasra number
- If the entry is missing, visit your patwari’s halka office with land ownership proof and request a Girdawari entry for the current season
- If the crop shown in Girdawari is wrong, file a written correction application with the Tehsildar
- In some districts, Gram Rozgar Sahayak or e-Mitra operators can help facilitate the Girdawari correction
Mobile Number Not Linked to Aadhaar
What causes it: The e-Uparjan portal sends an OTP to your Aadhaar-linked mobile for verification. If your mobile number has changed since you enrolled in Aadhaar, or was never linked, you will not receive the OTP and cannot complete registration online.
- Visit the nearest Aadhaar Enrollment / Update Center (found at post offices, banks, and CSC centers)
- Fill the Aadhaar Update form for mobile number change. Biometric authentication will be done on the spot
- The updated mobile number reflects in Aadhaar within 7–10 working days
- Alternatively, some districts allow offline registration at the Jan Seva Kendra or Kiosk center — ask your procurement supervisor
Duplicate Registration Error
What causes it: The system has flagged your Aadhaar number or khasra number as already registered for the same crop in the current season. This can happen if someone else in the family registered the same land, or if you accidentally submitted the form twice.
- Check if another family member has already registered the same khasra number. Only one registration per khasra per crop per season is allowed
- If it was a genuine duplicate submission, visit the district e-Uparjan nodal officer to request the duplicate entry be removed
- Carry your Aadhaar, Samagra ID, and land papers when visiting the nodal officer’s office
- Do not attempt to re-register from a different Aadhaar number — the khasra linkage will still flag it
Crop Rejected at Center — High Moisture / Poor Quality
What causes it: When you arrive at the procurement center, the quality inspector tests your wheat (or other crop) for moisture, broken grain percentage, and foreign matter. If moisture content is above the permissible limit (12% for wheat), the lot may be rejected or accepted with a weight deduction.
- Dry your crop thoroughly for at least 2–3 days in direct sunlight before the slot date
- Use a moisture meter (available at most local hardware/agri shops) to check moisture before transporting
- Store the crop in a well-ventilated, dry area — not in a damp godown or on the ground without a tarpaulin
- If rejected, you can request a rebooking of slot after drying and re-testing. Contact your procurement center supervisor directly
Samagra ID Not Found or Inactive
What causes it: Your Samagra ID is either not yet created, the household has been merged or deleted in the Samagra database, or there is a name/DOB mismatch between Samagra and Aadhaar records. Samagra is mandatory for e-Uparjan registration in Madhya Pradesh.
- Search your Samagra ID at samagra.gov.in using your name, mobile number, or Aadhaar
- If not found, visit your Gram Panchayat / Ward Office to get your family registered in the Samagra portal
- If there is a data mismatch (name or DOB), file a correction request via the Samagra portal or at the ward/panchayat level
- After correction, allow 48–72 hours before retrying e-Uparjan registration, as databases sync with a delay
Payment Not Received / Delayed Beyond 7 Days
What causes it: Payment delays can occur due to bank account errors (wrong IFSC, frozen account), PFMS processing lag, or a pending verification step on the portal. Sometimes, accounts with restrictions (e.g., joint accounts not DBT-mapped) also cause failures.
- First, check your payment status on the official e-Uparjan portal using your registration number
- If status shows “processed” but bank hasn’t credited, contact your bank with the PFMS reference number
- If status still shows “pending,” call the state helpline: 07552-525803 on a working day (10 AM – 6 PM)
- Visit the district ATMA (Agriculture Technology Management Agency) office with your sale receipt and Aadhaar for in-person follow-up

MP e-Uparjan (Madhya Pradesh Electronic Procurement) is a digital procurement platform launched by the Government of Madhya Pradesh to facilitate the purchase of food grains and oilseeds from farmers at the government-declared Minimum Support Price (MSP). It is operated by the MP State Civil Supplies Corporation (MPCSC) and Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Protection Department.
Before e-Uparjan, farmers had to deal with middlemen (arhatiyas/dalals) at unregulated mandis who would pay well below MSP. With e-Uparjan, the state government buys directly from registered farmers — payment goes to the bank account with no cash handling and no human in between. This has made the MSP system much more accessible, particularly for small and marginal farmers with 1–3 acres of land.
How MSP Is Determined
The Minimum Support Price is announced by the central government (CACP — Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices) before each sowing season. For Rabi 2026-27, the MSP for wheat is ₹2,585 per quintal. The MP state government additionally provides a bonus of ₹40 per quintal, making the effective price ₹2,625 per quintal for wheat.
MSP is calculated based on the cost of production (A2+FL formula — actual paid-out costs plus family labour). It is designed to ensure farmers at minimum recover their input costs. The CACP also considers market prices, demand-supply balance, and global prices while recommending MSP.

These are real questions farmers across MP frequently ask about the e-Uparjan registration process. Click any question to expand the answer.
Kya main e-Uparjan par online registration kar sakta hoon? (Can I register online?)
Haan, aap directly mpeuparjan.nic.in portal par jaake online registration kar sakte hain. Aapko apna Aadhaar number, Samagra ID, bank account number, aur khasra details chahiye honge. Registration mobile se bhi ho sakta hai — portal mobile-friendly hai.
Agar aapko portal use karne mein problem ho, to aap apne najdeek ke Jan Seva Kendra (Common Service Center / CSC) par jaake operator ki madad se bhi registration karwa sakte hain. CSC centers mein yeh service usually free ya nominal charge par milti hai.
Kya bina Samagra ID ke registration ho sakti hai?
Nahi. Samagra ID Madhya Pradesh mein e-Uparjan registration ke liye mandatory hai. Yeh MP government ki unified family database hai jo welfare schemes ke liye use hoti hai. Bina Samagra ID ke aap e-Uparjan portal par registration complete nahi kar sakte.
Agar aapke paas Samagra ID nahi hai, to apni Gram Panchayat ya Ward Office mein jaayein aur Samagra registration karwaayein. Yeh free hai. Iske baad aap samagra.gov.in par apna ID search kar sakte hain.
Kya bataidar (tenant) ya adhiya (sharecrop) kisan register kar sakte hain?
Haan, MP e-Uparjan portal bataidar (tenant farmers) aur adhiya farmers ko bhi register karne ki allow karta hai. Inhe “Bataidar / Adhiya” category select karni hoti hai registration ke dauran.
Iske liye land owner ka Aadhaar number bhi dena hota hai, aur land owner ki consent (sahmat) system mein darj hoti hai. Dono parties — land owner aur bataidar — ko biometric verification mein participate karna pad sakta hai depending on district policy. Local kharid kendra par is process ki full details milti hain.
Ek hi Aadhaar se kitni baar registration ho sakti hai?
Ek Aadhaar number se ek season mein multiple crops ke liye alag-alag registration ho sakti hai — jaise ek registration wheat ke liye aur ek mustard ke liye, agar aapne dono faslein ugayi hain. Lekin ek hi crop ke liye ek hi khasra number par duplicate registration nahi ho sakti.
Yadi aapke paas multiple khasra numbers hain alag-alag jagah, to har khasra ke liye alag entry ho sakti hai. Har entry crop quantity aur land records se verified hogi.
Meri age 18 saal se kam hai — kya main register kar sakta hoon?
E-Uparjan registration ke liye koi minimum age restriction portal par officially stated nahi hai, lekin Aadhaar card mandatory hai. Minor farmers (18 se kam) ke cases mein usually land record mein jo bhi naam hai (parent/guardian ka) unhe register karna hota hai. In cases mein apne local procurement officer se guidance lena best hai, kyunki district-wise policies thodi alag ho sakti hain.
MSP kya hota hai aur iska faida kisan ko kaise milta hai?
MSP — Minimum Support Price — woh guaranteed price hai jo sarkar aapki fasal ke liye deti hai, chahe bazar mein daam kitna bhi gir jaaye. Yeh central government (CACP) dwara fasal ugane se pehle announce kiya jaata hai, taaki kisan planning kar sakein.
MP mein wheat ka MSP 2026-27 ke liye ₹2,585/quintal hai. MP Sarkar ne upar se ₹40/quintal bonus diya hai, to effective price ₹2,625/quintal hai. Agar aap 50 quintal wheat bechte hain, to aapko seedha ₹1,31,250 bank mein milenge — koi bhi katauti nahi, koi dalal nahi.
Payment kitne dinon mein aata hai? Delay hone par kya karein?
Fasal bechne ke baad, MSP payment aapke Aadhaar-linked bank account mein 7 working days ke andar aa jaata hai. SMS notification aapke registered mobile number par milta hai.
Agar 10 working days baad bhi payment nahi aaya:
- Pehle official portal par payment status check karein apne registration number se
- “Processed” dikh raha hai lekin bank mein nahi aaya — apni bank branch jaayein aur PFMS reference number share karein
- Status “pending” dikh raha hai — state helpline 07552-525803 par call karein (weekdays, 10 AM – 6 PM)
- District ATMA ya Food & Civil Supplies office mein in-person jaayein apni sale receipt aur Aadhaar ke saath
Kya mujhe e-Uparjan se milne wali payment par tax dena padega?
Individual farmers jo agricultural income ke roop mein MSP payment receive karte hain, unhe generally India mein agricultural income par income tax nahi lagta (Section 10(1) of the Income Tax Act). MSP payment agricultural produce ki sale hai, business income nahi.
Lekin agar aapki total income (agricultural + non-agricultural) taxable limit se upar hai, ya aap partnership firm/company ke through farming karte hain, to ek qualified tax advisor se consult karein. Yeh general information hai, tax advice nahi.
Slot booking ke baad kya main center badal sakta hoon?
Generally, slot booking ke baad center change karna portal par directly possible nahi hota. Agar aapko genuinely center change karna pade (e.g., aapka preferred center closed ho gaya ya kapasiti full ho gayi), to district e-Uparjan nodal officer se milein. Woh manually reassignment kar sakte hain valid cases mein.
Slot date change karna sometimes possible hota hai agar slot period ongoing ho. Portal check karein — kuch seasons mein “reschedule” option available hota hai. Lekin yeh option har season mein guaranteed nahi hota.
Mera slot miss ho gaya — ab kya karoon?
Agar aap apna booked slot miss kar lete hain, to aapko portal par dubara login karke naya slot book karna hoga — agar slots available hain. Peak procurement period (April–May) mein slots jaldi bhar jaate hain, isliye miss hone ke baad jaldi action lena zaroori hai.
Kuch procurement centers direct walk-in bhi allow karte hain agar din ke end mein capacity bachi ho — apne najdeek ke center par seedha call karke pooch lein. Center ka contact number usually portal par available hota hai.
Agar sab slots bhar jaayein aur procurement period khatam hone wali ho, to district Collector ke darkhwast deke extension ki demand kar sakte hain — yeh collective action mein zyada effective hota hai (e.g., through Gram Sabha ya Kisan Sangathan).
Procurement center par kitna wait karna padta hai? Kya better time hota hai jaane ka?
Peak wheat procurement time (April 15 – May 15) par centers bahut busy hote hain. Even with slot booking, 1–3 ghante ki wait common hai. Subah ke slots (8 AM – 11 AM) generally fastest hote hain kyunki din ka karobaar abhi start hua hota hai aur queue fresh hoti hai.
Dopahar ke baad (2 PM ke baad) aana avoid karein on peak days — quality checking aur weighment slow pad jaata hai. Mid-week days (Tuesday–Thursday) weekends se thode less crowded hote hain.
Apne saath zaroori documents laayein ready: Slot receipt (printed ya mobile screenshot), Aadhaar card (original), aur ek backup copy of your registration number. Isse center par time waste nahi hoga.
Girdawari kya hoti hai aur ise kahan se check karein?
Girdawari aapke khasra number par is season mein kaunsi fasal ugayi gayi hai — iska official record hai. Yeh Revenue Department ke patwari dwara saal mein do baar update kiya jaata hai (Rabi season aur Kharif season ke liye). E-Uparjan registration ke dauran, system automatically check karta hai ki aap jo crop register kar rahe hain woh aapke khasra ki Girdawari se match karta hai ya nahi.
Girdawari check karne ke liye:
- MP Bhulekh portal: mpbhulekh.gov.in — apne district, tehsil, village select karein, phir khasra number enter karein
- Alternatively, apne Patwari Halka office mein jaayein — woh on-the-spot dikhaa sakte hain
- MP Mobile App (mpbhulekh app) se bhi check ho sakta hai
Kya registration ke liye Kisan Credit Card (KCC) zaroori hai?
Nahi. Kisan Credit Card (KCC) e-Uparjan registration ke liye mandatory nahi hai. Zaroorat hai: Aadhaar, Samagra ID, bank account (Aadhaar-linked), aur khasra details. KCC hone se koi extra benefit ya fast-track process nahi hota e-Uparjan mein specifically.
KCC ek alag scheme hai loan facility ke liye — e-Uparjan MSP procurement se uska seedha connection nahi hai.
Mere naam par zameen nahi hai — kya main bhi register ho sakta hoon?
Haan, lekin specific conditions ke saath. E-Uparjan mein teen categories hain:
- Swamit Kisan (Owner): Zameen aapke naam par hai — seedha registration
- Bataidar/Adhiya (Tenant Farmer): Aap kisi aur ki zameen par fasal ugaate hain — land owner ki details bhi register karni hoti hain
- Van Patta Dhari: Aapke paas forest land patta hai — yeh bhi eligible hai
Agar aap bataidar hain, to land owner ka Aadhaar number aur unki sahmat (consent) mandatory hai. Kuch cases mein land owner ko biometric verification deni padti hai. Local kharid kendra supervisor se is process ki exact requirements confirm kar lein.
Portal par login nahi ho raha / OTP nahi aa raha — kya karein?
OTP nahi aane ke kuch common reasons:
- Mobile number Aadhaar se linked nahi hai — UIDAI ke saath update karwana hoga (enrollment center visit)
- Mobile network issue ya DND (Do Not Disturb) active hai — DND service band karein aur retry karein
- Portal server busy hota hai peak hours (8 AM – 11 AM, 5 PM – 8 PM) mein — off-peak time try karein
- Browser cache issue — browser clear karke ya incognito mode mein try karein
Agar consistently issue aa raha hai, Jan Seva Kendra (CSC) par jaayein — wahan portal ka direct access hota hai aur operator guide kar sakta hai. Yeh most effective solution hai technical issues ke liye.
Kya e-Uparjan ka mobile app hai? Android par kaise download karein?
Haan, “MP e-Uparjan Kisan” naam ka official Android app hai jo Google Play Store par available hai. Isse aap registration status check kar sakte hain, payment track kar sakte hain, aur procurement center ki information dekh sakte hain.
Play Store par seedha “MP e-Uparjan” search karein. Download karte waqt ensure karein ki publisher NIC (National Informatics Centre) ya MP Government hai — fake apps se bachne ke liye.
Note: App mein sabhi features web portal jaisi nahi hoti. Full registration process website par hi better hoti hai. App mainly status tracking aur information ke liye zyada useful hai.
